Kimberly Robbins Muhlestein is a multifaceted performer, private voice instructor, acting coach, music director, choral director, photographer, choreographer, and director. She recently directed and choreographed Descendants: The Musical as well as Matilda Jr. with Classical Ballet Conservatory in West Jordan, Utah. She has also directed Eyes Wide Open, and The Wizard of Oz in Nephi, Utah. Kimberly has music directed numerous productions including Children of Eden, Amélie, Bright Star, Ranked The Musical, and several musical revues. She is also pursuing certification as a Body Mapping Educator through The Association of Body Mapping Educators, specializing in helping vocalists and dancers. This fall, Kimberly is excited to perform with The Ruth as Mrs. Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her debut EP of musical theater–style covers, Beyond the Spotlight, will be released in the coming weeks.
When not instructing, Kimberly loves being onstage. Favorite performance credits include Jo in Little Women (Salem Community Theater), Martha in Lamb of God (Witness Music), Alice in The Addams Family, Elisabeth in King of Kings, Mary Mother in Lamb of God (Draper Philharmonic and Choral Society), Polly Baker in Crazy for You, Woman 2 in Songs for a New World, Cast Member in Sondheim on Sondheim, Eve in The Apple Tree, and Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Kimberly studied Classical, Musical Theater, and CCM Voice at Utah State University under Dr. Cindy Dewey. She has performed across the USA, Europe, England, and the Philippines in both choral and solo settings. At USU, she was a member of the Chamber Singers under Dr. Corey Evans and later performed with the American Festival Chorus under Dr. Craig Jessop.
In addition to performing and teaching, Kimberly is a professional photographer, specializing in performer headshots.
